Healing After the Loss of a Loved One
Aloha My Friends,
I would like to share a healing request I received from a friend missing her son who had recently died. It is my knowing that we as “one collective consciousness” fill the void that she is feeling in her heart.

Dear Kahu,
Today, I’m again trying to write to you without complaining too much about myself. I want to tell you that I need help to find a reason to carry on with my life. Recently, I have found a little spark of Light in myself, but it goes out quickly, leaving me feeling empty and without will. I fall back down to the bottom of the pit crying, despairing because of my ineptitude, incapable of grasping at anything that might save me.
I have been crying a lot from the loss of my son Mark, but it’s my lack of ability to climb out of the grief that is feeding my despair. My sleep has been affected; I don’t eat correctly, and sometimes not at all. I just can’t see a reason to persevere even though I remember you telling me some time ago that I must go on to honor my own life.
Could you please impart some words of wisdom, even practical advice to lead me to find myself, restore my confidence and faith and rediscover my internal guidance. Thank you very much for always being there. I’m looking forward to hearing from you.
